Jimmy Vegas Unity Tutorials
Hello, my name is Jimmy Vegas and I am a Unity developer at http://jvunity.com . Currently I develop easy to follow tutorials on YouTube for people new to the video game development industry. I mainly focus on the beginner level, however, though the course of my tutorials, a beginner will turn into an effective and efficient Unity developer.
With more than 17 years of game development history, I always felt that my teaching techniques were unique and I always had something I could teach. Unity is an effective engine which anybody can use with the right training, and as I was once a beginner, I still hold that close to me and wish to give others my knowledge. I develop games as well as tutor beginners, and I give out my games for free on my website.
My current goal is to generate enough support to enable me to release new tutorials almost every day. Currently I am able to do 1 a week, with some weeks maybe 2. However, the £5,000 goal will enable me to release 3 videos a week. The ultimate goal is to fully set up Jimmy Vegas Games Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada. This Studio will be able to develop new games as well as tutoring budding developers in Unity. This goal is some way off and it'll be a long road to get it right, but with the support of fans the goal can become a reality sooner rather than later. The amount needed for this goal has not been determined, but it could be a very real reach.
To accomplish this goal would mean a lot to me personally, as I have been an avid gamer all my life. Since I first got my hands on an RPG maker 17 years ago, I knew I wanted to develop video games, and to teach people the wonders of development.
I can't actually explain in text how grateful I would be to reach my goal, but if it happens, I would like to thank each and every one of you personally.
