Jonathan Brewster

On Sunday June 17th Jonathan spent the entire day outside riding his bicycle in the South Florida heat. He did not drink any water and collapsed later that night. He developed a nearly fatal condition called rhabdomyolysis with kidney and liver failure. His legs are paralyzed and he is in severe pain in his hips. He is on a lot of medications and is receiving dialysis. We do not currently know his prognosis but he will be in the hospital for the next few weeks. We are needing to raise funds to help us pay his living expenses while he is recovering. He has no family or friends where he is currently living and he does not want to return home to Ohio yet. If he’s not better in a few weeks we will have to make a new plan. Right now we feel it is best to pay his bills for him and see if he fully recovers.
