Homeless to Home in Newport, OR

John and I are teachers who are following our calling to Newport, Oregon. My daughter, Alasen, will be going with us to work and attend community college. We have been saving money by saving every penny possible. We will do this, but honestly may end up staying in our car for a little bit until cheap digs can be found for a few months. If you have viable info instead of pennies, we welcome the information. We are $3000 short of our original goal because of unforeseen changes in our summer employment opportunity time frame. We ended up with only one week of teaching instead of the month we thought we would have. We sold a lot of our possessions and will continue to do so, but we need all the help we can get. This outreach is an extremely humbling experience, and I cry pardon to those who may think it distasteful, but I have learned to ask for help when I need it with a promise to pay it forward, always.
