Ryans fight Frontotemporal Dementia

Please take a few minutes to read the story of the Ryan family. Kevin Ryan was recently diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia. We are raising funds to help with medical expenses and bills as Kevin has been unable to work for quite some time.
FTD is a progressive neurological disease that has no treatments and is always fatal. Unfortunately, Kevin will progress and will need 24 hour care.

Kevin and Roxana met in 7th grade at Foothill Intermediate in Walnut Creek, California. They became Best friends in High School. Roxana was attracted to Kevin's dry sense of humor and also his passion for everything and anything. Kevin was very driven and if he said he was going to climb "Mt. Everest", Roxana had no doubt he would do it. They started dating the end of Senior year and then went to different colleges for their Freshman year where Kevin played baseball for the Olympic coach at Mt. Sac. They both transferred to the University of Arizona in Tucson were they both continued to date and graduate. They were married on August 4, 1990 and will be married 28 years this year. Kevin and Roxana have two beautiful children Shane 24 and Taylor 23. During the kids childhood , Kevin was nicked named "Mr. Mom" because he did everything!!! Cooked (really good), coached most of Shane's sports, and was a calm force of reason for the kids. The Ryans moved to Texas in 2013. Kevin's health started to decline in 2016. After a year of misdiagnosis, Kevin was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in May of 2018.
