On its 10th anniversary of our fish rescue we have reopened with an agreement with a local mental health charity for any rescued fish to be displayed in a public aquarium. The visitors to Mental Health Action Group (MHAGS) help to look after the fish which are rescued from houses for various reasons which will eventually be open to the public to visit. We are pleased to offer this service to help the visitors to give them something to concentrate on and look after. Having an aquarium is a great way to bring calm into a house which helps the residents. MHAGs has its own funding for running of the mental health charity building, FINs however needs separate funding for fuel to carry out rescues, purchase our own equipment and tanks for housing fish and other expenses such as the upkeep of the website. All donators would be personally mentioned on our website ( www.helpmyfish.co.uk ) overall we need to raise £10k to be able to register as a charity but we are just after funds to be able to carry out our work. We are also working on two major projects to help welfare of fish.

We are moving forward with the build of the fish room in the beginning of September,
We need funds for the purchase of materials to make this go ahead so that FINS can now move forward with rescues.
We are lucky so far that the building we are moving into is rent free but as courtesy of course we would contribute towards the bills .
