Le Brasse Family

The Le Brasse family is your typical Australian family. Hardworking, loyal, lovely people with 2 great kids a dog and a mortgage. Healthy, and lovers of anything outdoors, the family is not a family you would associate with poor health. Unfortunately providence has had other plans of recent times.

Henri is self employed and drives trucks for a living. He is well known for his skill and dedication. Last Wednesday night he arrived in Moree and within a short period of time became disoriented and confused. To cut a long story short he has suffered a fractured scull and 3 bleeds on the brain. A severe traumatic brain injury has just changed the lives of this lovely family forever.

A long road of rehabilitation is ahead. Together we would love to raise enough funds to help them with the medical and rehabilitation expenses that a traumatic brain injury requires and provide assistance while they are both unable to work.   

The logistics of travelling to be near Henri is also an added financial burden. Once Henri is stable enough to transport from the ICU at St George hospital in Sydney, they will be able to transport him to a Brisbane hospital to be closer to his family where he can still access rehabilitation services that are not available in a rural town.

Please help in anyway that you can. The funds that you give go directly to Susie and Henri’s bank account. They pass through a facility that allows the transactions to take place called ‘Swipe’ a Go Fund me facility that allows this all to happen. This allows Susie to pay for the extra medical and rehabilitation expenses that they incur while being in such a high care environment so far from home.

The Le Brasse family will be eternally grateful for the love and support of all the people that have shown them love and support on this long road.

This Go Fund Me page has been set up by Victoria Bauman. Our family and the Le Brasse family have been friends for years. We live just around the corner from the Le Brasse family in Rockhampton. As a family with our own 2 young children it is hard to see another family go through such a distressing time and we want to help in anyway that we can.
