Handicap Accessible Van For Vesper

Vesper Rose was born 01/20/2017 at 5:30am unresponsive. Her oxygen in the womb had been cut off due to an abruption. The doctors were not hopeful she would make it, but not only did she make it her body began to heal. All the organs that where failing started working again and she slowly came out of a coma. Unfortunately, the swelling from her birth trauma caused permanent brain damage. She has HIE, cerebral palsy and microcephaly. She hasn’t let it stop her though, every time the doctors tell us not to expect anything from her and refer to her as little more than a “vegetable” she proves them wrong! Vesper loves bath time and shopping at Target. Her favorite color is red and she loves watching her brother rough house. She has a lot of challenges ahead of her but one thing that is important to us as a family is mobility. We never want Vesper to feel stuck because of her inability to walk. She’s so adventurous and loves the outdoors. Vesper is a fighter and this van will just be a tool to continue to help her personality grow!
