Ease Ed’s Burden

Hi my name is Micah Cox and I am calling on you, my friends and family, on behalf of my Dad, Ed Burns. After a series of choking incidents it was discovered that my dad had cancer of the esophagus. He was diagnosed with Stage 1 esophageal cancer in July 2017. He has undergone 5 weeks of chemo therapy & radiation and has been under close observation by his doctors. After gaining a second opinion, he and his doctors have decided that the best course of action is surgery to remove the majority of his esophagus(esophagectomy)in hopes that the cancer will not return. He will have surgery on June 12th and have a feeding tube until he has healed. This will of course be detrimental to he and his wife Paulette’s finances as he will be out of work for at least 6-8 weeks. Thank you so much for considering a share or donation to help my Dad out!
