Greetings!
My name is Edysmar Diaz-Cruz and I recently became a College Prep Scholar (CPS) on behalf of Questbridge, a non-profit organization that offers full-tuition scholarships to highly qualified students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. As a CP Scholar, I have the opportunity to attend a National College Admissions Conference at Yale University on June 18th of this summer. Unfortunately, Questbridge does not have enough funds to fly out every scholar.
Yale is in New Haven, Connecticut and I am in Miami, Florida! As of now, plane tickets are about $370 each. Now double that, because my mom will be accompanying me. And don't even get me started with hotel expenses! As you can probably tell, this is going to be one pricey trip, which is why I need your help. Of course I will do my part and fundraise at school, but it would lighten the load if you could donate a minimum of $5 dollars. I would greatly appreciate it!
