School Uniforms for Elementary kids

Hi My name is Nancy Bell, and I am the founder of Mayor Potencial. We are a 100% volunteer-run, 501C3 non- profit organization.   In order to attend public school in Honduras you must wear a school uniform.  In the rural village of El Rodeito, where we are currently working to raise the funds to build a highschool, we have 13 children who need our help. Their families are unable to provide the school uniforms and school shoes needed.   El Rodeito is a rural village where sustenance farming is a way of life. Sadly, an ongoing drought has devastated this community, and they need a little help to ensure their children can continue to attend school.  In Honduras the school year is Feb-Nov.  We need to act fast and ensure the children can continue their education! 

The cost of the uniforms and a pair of school shoes per child is $30. 07
Transportation from El Rodeito to Tegucigalpa per person to purchase the uniforms is $35. 
The money gram fee is 9.99 per transaction 
The fees charged by paypal to accept donations here are: 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction

Here is the breakdown of the uniform costs per child: 
Shirt $6.15 each 
Pants/Skirt  $6.15 each 
Shoes  $12.30 
Sales tax: $1.97 
Transportation $3.50  ( In order to save in transportation costs, we will have one community member travel and purchase all uniforms for the kids)
