Owlet Monitor for Charley

Friends and Family, I don’t normally like to do these kind of things and ask for help, but I feel like I need to this time. As a lot of you know Charley was in the hospital for 5 days because of a viral infection that caused her to have some Apnea( Breathing Spells) . These caused her to stop breathing and turn blue which I’m sure you can imagine is a very scary thing to watch especially for a 12 day old baby, well we were able to come home because she is doing very well but Mark and I are very anxious and nervous about going to sleep because we don’t have the cushion of having nurses there around the clock or having a monitor to track her breathing. There is a baby monitor we have found and researched called the Owlet Baby Monitor , it’s a little sock that goes on Charley’s foot and would track her pulse and her oxygen level throughout the day and while she sleeps. If she was to start to having any trouble with her breathing it would sound an alarm to alert Mark or myself that she was having difficulty so that we could intervene. The only problem is that we just can’t afford it right now because Mark is the sole provider until I return to work, the reason I’m asking for help is because we are both nervous wrecks and I feel that in order for us to feel comfortable having her home we really need this monitor as reassurance that Charley is still stable being home and away from the hospital, the monitor itself is 299.99, but if we buy one refurbished it’s 199.99 plus tax and if we overnight ship it then it’s an extra 30$ which we feel is reasonable so we can get it here and start using it for peace of mind, any little bit of donation helps and goes a long way, if we can reach our Goal soon then we are that much closer to getting her this monitor and making sure she is 100% safe.
