Sierra began her first year of college receiving chemotherapy instead of a college education. Sierra is 19 years old, and is my youngest daughter. Diagnosed in July she has been undergoing treatment and fighting to win the battle against Stage 3, Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
By donating, you are helping Sierra on her road to recovery, helping with her expenses and helping her be able give to other young people who are fighting cancer, the same support.
Sierra has already started giving back. Sierra volunteered at the All Children's Hospital Winter Wonderland, where she helped parents of inpatient children shop for Christmas gifts for their sick child and their siblings at no cost. She guided them thru the process which for some was very emotional. Sierra also donated Christmas gifts to the Children's Cancer Center of Tampa allowing two teenage girls who are battling cancer to enjoy a Merry Christmas. Sierra has just begun a new project which is volunteering at Quantum Leap Farm, where patients, and military families find refuge and therapy thru horse back riding.
TEAM SIERRA is on a mission! We are helping Sierra and also giving back and helping others who are coping with cancer and all its terrible effects. Sierra has fought a tough battle. She has inspired others and found a strength she didn't know she possessed. Help Sierra continue her recovery and continue helping others by donating and supporting her.
