Christmas Housing for Aquinas Students

Hi, everyone, and thanks for visiting my page! Many of you may have been directed here via my campaign page-- thank you for looking it over and supporting students such as myself! I was encouraged by several people to set up an account so that the foster and homeless students who are unable to return home for vacation are able to find a safe and stable option near to Aquinas. Thus far, there are nine students who I am in contact with who will have nowhere to go for break, and it would be amazing to be able to offer some type of option where we were able to stay near each other, and don't have to split up to different areas. The break this year is from December 23-January 3, a total of 12 nights. We are looking at a few different options, from a furnished apartment to a hotel that maybe has group rooms. However, our ultimate goal is that with these funds, the college will be able to do whatever it needs to do to keep us in our own homes-- our rooms on-campus.

1) This account is NOT an official Aquinas College account and is not tied to the organization in any way. Rather it is a group of students who has decided to act for themselves due to the lack of housing provided by the organization


2) ANY funds that are not used for securing housing this Christmas by the proposed group of students will be used to create a scholarship fund to help with the break housing costs, on- or off-campus, in the future
