Hi Everyone, The purpose of this is to update and request prayers and support.
As many of you know our beloved boxer Banks has been suffering from upper and lower intestinal bleeding.
The past few days have been heart-renching for me and my family. Although we're not out of the woods yet ... we are seeing encouraging signs. A hospital is tough place be through the holidays. Spending time here makes us more aware of the anxiety people face when their pets have serious health issues and hospital stays become so costly. To give you an idea, 3 days in the hospital has cost my husband and I around $10k but these doctors are worth it. Every penny.
The Banks fund is being established to help those pets at IVG Hospitals Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital.
All donations go directly to the hospital and apply completely to medical care for these pets in need. Everything helps. If you can contribute $1 or $2 it makes a difference. If you are not in a position to donate please send your prayers.
