My involvement in camps for the disabled community over the years have lead me to be more involved! I have recently joined The Facilities committee for Camp Cavell Conservancy, a nonprofit Summer camp facility. I have made it my goal and priority to address safety concerns, improvement needs, and aid in the remedy of repair and improvements of the grounds in a cost effective manor!
As a non profit agency and to help speed up the process to have these items in place for the summer camp season, I am choosing by my own doing to raise funds for such needs. But I can’t do it without your help!Use for funds would include but are not limited to Updating ALL Smoke detectors, adding Carbon Monoxide detectors, spraying cabins for mold/mildew, industrial leaf blower and moss cleaner to keep roofs and decks clean of debris and prevent deterioration, new full size non slip shower mats, new heavy duty shower curtains, repair of N7/N8 deck damaged by storm, just to name a few!
PLEASE help if you are able to do so, as my goal is to have these tasks completed before May 31 as the season gets into full swing! These are projects I personally have chosen to taken on! I am also consulting with local Fire Depts, experts and businesses to assist with costs as well! If Any funds are raised above and beyond the goal will be used for further updates for safety and maintenance of the camp facilities and grounds and you will be updated of it’s use! Thanks everyone!
