Documentary in Malawi

Hello friends and family,
This film will bring light to what is going on in Malawi and hopefully incite others to become more involved. The long term goal is to build enough homes on the Youth Care property to house the most at-risk and destitute children currently on the streets of Lilongwe, Malawi.
This summer I will have the opportunity to travel to Africa as part of a volunteer team that will be making a documentary on a silent crisis affecting the children of Malawi.
It is estimated that a million children have been orphaned in Malawi, Africa, forcing many of them live on the streets. Most of their parents have died of AIDS or are unable to support them. Girls are often preyed upon sexually by men and often give themselves to prostitution at an early age in order to make money.

The money I raise will go toward airfare, vaccinations and other travel related expenses while I am there (July 22nd - Aug 22nd). All donations will be greatly appreciated no matter what the dollar amount.
