Ashley & Aly in the National American Miss pageant
Donation protected
ONLY 2 DAYS TO GO!!!!
We are just a few days away from the pageant! The girls are SO EXCITED! Their introductions are memorized, they have practiced interviewing and talents... Both girls are dancing and Ashley is playing piano. I can\'t wait! We will post pics and Flip videos so you can share in our exciting weekend!
Ashley and Aly were both selected to be finalists in our state National American Miss Pageant- in the Pre-Teen division. They are really excited! It is not an ordinary \"beauty pageant.\" NAM focuses on \"poise, self-confidence, and valuable communication skills.\" They also emphasize community service. Their mission is \"dedicated to celebrating America's greatness and encouraging its future leaders.\" Go here to learn more about this awesome program.
The girls are learning important life skills of interviewing, public speaking, raising money, and working HARD! They are also thinking about and setting goals. The girls\' goals are to represent their FAITH and their COMMUNITY, to make new friends, and to have fun with the whole family!
As part of the program, they need to find donors to raise the individual sponsor fee. We were hoping YOU may want to help them. No donation is too small or too large! :) You may make a donation conveniently online- it only takes a minute!
The state finals are July 23 and 24 in Waterloo, IA. If you are free we\'d love to see you!
We really appreciate your support. Thanks so much!
