Matthew Plock Memorial Fund

Matthew Plock passed away on 3/20 after 13 days in critical care fighting a septic infection. He suffered enormously during his final days in the hospital as the doctors struggled to find the answers. After many slight improvements and some hope of being able to get a liver transplant, Matt succumbed to the infection and passed away surrounded by Stacy and his family. The family is shocked and deeply saddened by Matt’s sudden passing. He and Stacy have been married 19 years and have two young children- Conor age 8 and Emma age 3 1/2. Not only are they facing the unbearable loss of losing a husband and father but they will be facing enormous medical bills and ongoing living expenses for the children moving forward. We have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support from the Coastside Mother’s Club in Half Moon Bay as well as the entire community in Half Moon Bay. Stacy and Matt have been living there 11 years. We feel blessed to be part of such an amazing community. We also appreciate the love and support of our dear friends and family from our childhood town in Palo Alto. There is not much we can do to help Stacy and her children through this difficult time, however, I would like to offer Stacy some help financially so she can have a moment to breathe and not be overwhelmed by the funeral and medical bills.
