A Helping Hand For Tundra’s Surgery

Donation protected
Hello everyone! For those of you who know me, I rarely ask for help with anything. I am now pushing aside my pride and doing what I know I have to do for the dog who has been my best friend, and sole, faithful companion for 9 years, and who is now a best friend to my 18 month old daughter Liliana. My sweet fur-baby Tundra will be having several procedures done in a major surgery, on Wednesday March 21st at Ohio State Veterinary Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. They found a large mass in her anal cavity that could potentially be cancerous, along with stones in her bladder, a mass on the outside of her leg, and she has extremely high calcium (Which is very rare for dogs), for which they have to cut into her throat to check and see if there is a mass on her thyroid (they’ll remove it if it is found). What was supposed to be a $1200-$1500 surgery has now turned into a $3500 surgery because of additional procedures that need to be performed and special anesthesia needed due to an allergic reaction during her last testing. The higher cost has completely caught us off guard, and I’m humbly asking for financial help to cover part of the costs. I am not eligible for the credit card they offer, and they don’t offer payment plans. If we cancel this appointment, which we have already pushed back for 3 months to save up money, the doctors can’t re-schedule us until 4 months from now. Due to the risk of these things becoming cancerous, they have told us we need to have this surgery performed asap. I have been working every chance I can get to save for this procedure, but the additional costs is something I just can’t handle alone along with all of our other expenses I have as a single mother. If you or anyone you know would like to help Tundra, any donation will truly help and be appreciated. No donation is too small, even if it’s a $1, it all adds up. If you don’t feel comfortable donating through here, you can also call the Ohio State Veterinary Hospital before Wednesday, and leave a donation in my name for Tundra. I’m praying this financial burden can be lifted off our shoulders so we can focus on her recovery, and assure that post surgery, she will be in a stress-free environment surrounded by positive energy, & also so I can be home with her for the weeks following her surgery to help her recover, instead of having to travel for work. Thank you all so much for listening, and we wish you a blessed day.
