All For Aliah

On March 11th, Aliah suffered a traumatic head injury, during a head on collision with a one-ton truck. She was rushed to the emergency room. The doctors immediately realized brain surgery was necessary and carried out the two hour procedure, in which both of the frontal lobes of her brain were operated on. Fortunately, she is currently stable, in a medically induced coma. However, the full extent of the brain damage is unknown and won’t be known for at least another week. Meanwhile, she will remain in intensive care. Please, your prayers are greatly welcomed. Aliah Geesey lives with her family in upstate South Carolina. She is a fifteen year old sophomore at Greer High School, a cheerleader, and a member of the virtual enterprise team, which earlier this year took state and will soon be competing for the national prize in New York. After high school, she plans on entering college for a business degree that focuses on marketing and sales. She is known for her bubbly, out going personality, and for her love of Jesus. Geesey family’s insurance will only cover a small portion of the rising medical bills, leaving hundreds of thousands of dollars uncovered, an amount that greatly surpasses their means of income. Aliah’s father, Roy, is the pastor of Outreach Church in Greenville, SC. Her mother, Patti, is in charge of the women’s ministry, as well as being a lead member of the worship team. They are dearly loved by their congregation and community. We are hoping to raise money for the Geesey’s, not only for their current medical expenses, but also for Aliah’s journey through recovery. This includes necessities, such as medical equipment, physical therapy and over all quality of life. We believe that, by the grace of God, Aliah will get well, and we hope that you will join us in blessing the Geesey family.
