Funeral Expenses For Elias Mendez

My name is Christopher Mendez and I am writing this on behalf of my family. My father, Elias Cadena Mendez, Jr., went home to our loving savior on March 3, 2018. If you were not aware, my father was a diabetic and fought a long battle with kidney failure. He had been diagnosed with diabetes at the young age of 11. My father was a real life super hero and he took care of my brother, my mother and myself until the day he passed. My father was a very well respected dental technician and he was preparing to take an exam for his own license to practice. He was an incredibly intelligent man who was the best at what he did. He was always ready to give what he could and share what he had with others. He was a God fearing man and was sure of his salvation. He dedicated much of his time to serving the Lord. After about 4 years on a waiting list, my father was finally going to receive a kidney this month on the 26th, after waiting so patiently and fighting every single day. We were packing his bags and getting ready for a week's stay in San Antonio for his new kidney, but we never could have imagined that we would be planning a funeral.
