Fr. Tom SKD Birthday Fund

In honor of my own birthday I am raising money to benefit Saint Katharine Drexel so that we can install energy-efficient lights in the gymnasium where we host social functions for the parish and play are CYO Sports. With $4,000 we will be able to install new lights that will pay for themselves over the next 3 years and will also help us to be more environmentally friendly! As the campaign has passed $4,000 I've decided the goal to reach further and we will apply additional donations to help cover the even more expensive new doors we had to install last week because of water damage in the gym. These doors are better looking, more secure, and will help keep out the cold in winter this helping keep down out heating bill over time. Thank you so much for your generosity!!!

For those who don't know already I am the resident pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Chester, PA.  This campaign is a great way for people to celebrate my 39th birthday by supporting the parish of St. Katharine Drexel (a registered 501c3 non-profit under the Archdiocese of Philadelphia) rather than sending me a personal gift.  All funds are being withdrawn directly to the Church's operating account and not to my own personal account.  The funds are being used as described above - to cover the costs of installing energy efficient lighting in the gymnasium / parish hall as well as to address some of the costs ($13,000+) associated with replacing 4 sets of double doors in the gymnasium / parish hall.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
