Help me get a computer for school!

UPDATE: I GOT IN! I am going to pharmacy school! I am so very excited! I will be attending Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center this fall! As I stated in my update, I am unfortunately going to have to get a new laptop as the school doesn't allow touch screens and they use the laptops for all the tests. I will be selling the one I have to help with the costs but it will not cover it completely. This is why I am asking for your help again! I will update this page with a better price goal once I know how much exactly the new computer will cost. I can't really offer any rewards as I have no time to fulfill any! I can offer a hand written thank you card! Thank you again to anyone who helped me with this the first time! <3 I'll leave the old info for anyone who wants to read it~

I have a BFA in animation, and believe it or not, I am going back to school to be a pharmacist. I believe many times in a person's life there are major choices. While I don't necessarily regret my choice of going to art school, lots of great memories, I feel that I have to make a new major choice. I've had a change of heart that many people before me have had in many different situations. I know it's a big shift to go from art to pharmacy, but I have always loved chemistry and math and helping people, to be able to combine all of those will be wonderful. Aside from all that, I am married and we want to start a family soon, to do this, I need a stable job. This is what brought me to the decision of going back to school. I will be paying for school on my own with a little bit of help with my pre-requisites from my mother. My husband is also back in school to be a nurse, so a lot of funds (from what little we have) are going that way.
All through art school I had a MacBook Pro. I used it everyday and for every project, it lasted me about 5 years. Then, sadly, Fredrick (my computers name) died. Going into pharmacy school will prove difficult without a laptop, especially without Word.
SO! To the point. I hope to raise enough money to get a new windows laptop as well as Microsoft office! I've thought long and hard (haha) about what laptop will be best. I've come to the conclusion of THIS!
It's awesome... And it flips into a tablet (couldn't find an action photo of that, just trust me on this, it's awesome)! It's also a great price.
