Odalys Implant surgery -seizure freedom

I have lived with Epilepsy for the last 46 years, my seizures happen around 8-10 times a day. I have tried countless medications,

 I had brain surgery . and even implant devices such as Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS).None of which  provided any seizure control.

I had to go on disability for my safety years ago when I was working in as  a Social Worker in a  career that I loved dearly.

Within the last year and after numerous tests (video EEG, stereotactic MRI, others) my  neurologist and neurosurgeon pinpointed the exact area of my brain that actually triggers my seizures qualifying me for this new surgery and implant. 

I am scheduled for RNS (Responsive Nerve Stimulator) surgery October 23rd, at St. Barnabas Hospital, New Jersey USA where I will have an implant attached to my brain giving me a great opportunity in decreasing or possibly eliminating my seizures with medications.

This surgery is my FINAL opportunity in time to stop my seizures since all medications available have not been effective.

My sister has been very supportive: along with my nephews. 

I am hoping to raise enough money to help me pay for the medical doctor's bills that my insurance doesn’t cover. 

It is not easy for me to ask for money but realistically this is so expensive that I humbly ask for any donation you can afford.
