Oliver Needs Surgery!

Last Friday I woke up and noticed my sweet boy, Oliver, was limping. I called his vet and since he had an appointment for a haircut scheduled for Tuesday, they said they could look at him then. Fast forward to Tuesday: Oliver went in and got an xray. The xray revealed he had fractured his hip (which is common in large male cats from 1-2 years old) and he would need a procedure called an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy). This surgery is to relieve his pain. He has not been the same since this happened. He seems very depressed and just lays around now. When he stands up he cries and when I pick him up he cries. It's the most heart breaking thing ever. Oliver is a very unique cat. He is very smart. He knows what treat means, also I love you, hungry, thirsty and come. We are a 3 cat household and when he wants to be fed he sits by the bowls. I put food in the bowls and he backs up and let's the other 2 cats eat first, even though he was the one who asked for the food. He does it with treats too, which he goes crazy for so it amazes me that he's so polite. He smiles when you pet him with his adorable toothy grin, and he loves to play. He is such a special cat and I truly couldn't imagine my life without him. I love him so very much and desperately need help to afford this unexpected surgery. I am a broke full time college student. Please help my sweet baby boy out!
