The FIGHT continues...

Well this little cancer bully is trying to hang on and resist the chemo!!! However, it doesn’t know what a fighter my sister is and what an army of doctors, caregivers, supporters and friends she has surrounding her. Destiny WILL win this battle, unfortunately it will take a longer time. Last week we found out she will need a more aggressive chemo treatment which will have her treatments being given in the hospital where she will remain for 5 days every month. She will have three cycles of this chemo. She will also have to have a bone marrow transplant after the treatment. We are not sure how she will react or feel on this regiment. Being in the hospital for that time period will put a strain on her finances. Hopefully the changes in healthcare will not go into effect until she is out of the woods. This will also hinder her ability to get back to a full time work schedule. Her employer is amazing and has helped her through this journey so much and for that we are so thankful. The money raised on this site so far and going forward helps Destiny and her son live a less stressful life without having to worry about how she will pay her bills and focus on her health and her son. We thank you in advance for all your support that you have shown. The prayers and constant reminders of what a life she can look forward to, full of friends and family, is definitely keeping her attitude strong and positive.
