In the early morning hours of February 21, 2018, Brett Ambrose suffered the rupture of an aortic aneurysm in his abdomen. Thankfully, he was already in the hospital when it occurred.
He has undergone multiple surgeries and though he is improving, there is likely a very long recovery ahead. Additional surgeries may yet be required.
