America's Weighted Blanket

In the last three months, I have been hospitalized for a total of 4 and a half weeks for major depression and anxiety. I had my birthday while in the hospital the second time, January 22nd. I turned 27. During the same hospitalization, I learned just how valuable a weighted blanket is when the Occupational Therapist lent a 15lbs weighted blanket. Now, during my second stint in Residential Treatment, I am hoping to save for a 25lbs blanket and cover. This will greatly aide in my recovery from this acute episode, as my recovery rate skyrocketed in the hospital when I received the blanket on loan. Being in residential means I am without my fiance, Brian, by my side, making the blanket more of a necessity than ever.

Consider this my birthday wish: to recover.
