On Sunday January 28, 2018 Kyle was taken to MUSC Children's Hospital after being sick. They discovered a golfball size tumor on the back, lower part of his brain. Since Sunday Kyle has had MRIs, an 8+ hour brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible, lots of drs in and out. It has been an overwhelming week for him and his family. The drs are pleased with his recovery so far. It was uncertain if he would be able to breath on his own, walk, talk etc after the surgery without long term rehabilitation. Kyle, being the strong little fighter he is, woke up from that long surgery breathing on his own, able to talk and move his arms and legs. Praise God! They are still waiting for the pathology report to give them more of a prognosis. It may take a few days. Regardless of the pathology results, Kyle will be undergoing Radiation and Chemotherapy in the future. It is a long, uncharted road ahead for them. As they figure out the plan and help Kyle get through this long journey they are so thankful for all of your prayers! Please continue to pray for Kyle and full healing.

I've been friends with Olga for the last 15 years and she is the most kind, generous, helpful person I have ever met! She's the first one to volunteer to help someone who needs it. She has a servants heart and I am proud to call her a best friend. ❤️ Coming together and helping her is the least I can do. I thought that getting some donations together to help ease any financial burden during this already difficult time, would be a good start. They will be at the hospital for a long while and traveling to also see Claire, go home for showers etc. They can use this money for gas, food and bills over the next few months as they stay by Kyle's side. The money will go directly to Olga and Blue to use as needed. I know as the amazingly helpful person she is, she isn't one that asks for help. She's used to being the doer. So I took it upon myself to get this started because I know that she would do the same for me. Finances are the last thing they need to worry about during this time. So if you're able to donate even just a dollar, that'd be great. If you can't donate, no worries! Please just continue to pray for Kyle, Claire, Olga and Blue.

I will post updates in here as I get them. If you "follow" this campaign it should email you updates as they're posted.

Kyle can't receive visitors at this time. He is in the ICU and they won't let us go up there. However if you are wanting to drop off something to help cheer him or Claire up, you can leave it with the front desk at MUSC Children's hospital. And tell them it is for Joseph (Kyle) Glover. He's in Unit 7C in room 777.

Kyle’s MRI went well today. There has been no change (which is good news!) Everything is still stable. They’ll be in NY for a few more days as he has his regular appt as well.
Thank you all for the continued prayers! ❤️

Good morning, everyone. I came across this photo of Kyle and my daughter from
Halloween 8 years ago. So cute with his Mickey ears ☺️

I wanted to let you all know that they are in New York for another MRI today. He has been in the study program in NY for 6 months now and was diagnosed 9 months ago.

We are asking for prayers for comfort this morning. Kyle hates getting these MRIs, and the fluid he gets beforehand burns. It’s obviously not fun for him at all, so we are praying for peace and comfort during his appt today. And of course we are praying for good results from the MRI.

Overall, He’s been doing well. Thank you for the prayers, let’s keep them going for this sweet boy! I will update after we get results from the MRI. ❤️

Hi everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update on Kyle for Olga. I haven’t updated in a while, but he’s been doing well and even been walking on his own. He also celebrated his 12th birthday just a couple of weeks ago. If you remember from previous updates, he was having trouble with his balance after the brain surgery earlier this year. But Kyle is a determined kids and he even walked into Claire’s school, all the way to her classroom to surprise her. Olga shared that with me a few weeks ago and I just thought it wa so sweet that he wanted to surprise his sister with his walking.

So he has been doing well, but we are asking for some extra prayers this week. Yesterday morning they took Kyle to MUSC after he was in pain. Really, really, terrible pain around his abdomen. Olga and Blue had to watch him be in excrutiating pain for 8 hours! Pain so bad it was making him sick to his stomach. They were unable to give him pain meds because of the meds he’s on, blood pressure and heart rate etc. So, while doctors were checking him out, doing ultra sounds of his pancreas and a CT scan he was was just miserable. All tests came back ok, his pancreas looked ok and his CT showed nothing wrong. Thankfully, the pain stopped, after 8 hours. (praise God!) He was able to sleep and is fine today. Doctors think it may have been kidney stones and not related to the tumor at all. So, so glad the pain stopped! Poor Kyle has been through so much over the last 8 months. They’re waiting to see what the doctors say and if he’s able to go home. Praying it was just kidney stones and they’ve passed, and that the pain is done with! Please keep them in your prayers this week. I know that was so hard for Blue and Olga to witness, hard for Kyle to go through and I’m sure Claire was worrying too. Thankful the pain seems to be done with, but hoping for a quiet, relaxing weekend from them.

Will keep everyone posted if I hear more on what’s the doctors think. ❤️

**Photo attached is one that I found on my phone from two year ago of Kyle, Claire and my daughter.

Quick update on Kyle’s Mri: it was stable, praise God. This is what we were hoping and praying for. No bad news, no growth and he’ll continie with his treatments.
they will be in New York through the weekend, and Kyle has another appt next week. But they are able to rest easy for tonight and this weekend knowing that the MRI results did not show any growth in the tumor and it’s stable.

Thank you for the continued prayers!
