Addison's Feeding Clinic

Addison is a 3 year old girl who has Pancreatic Colipase Deficiency (Pancreatic Insufficiency) which is a problem with her pancreas in which it doesn't create enough enzymes to break down fats in food so her body can absorb them, so to get enough nutrition she has to have formula through the tube. She had her NG tube placed in May 2012 (pictured left) & was moved to a G Tube in September 2012 (pictured right). Along with the Colipase issues Addison has aversions to food, where foods will make her throw up & gag. She also has food refusal & behavioral issues. We have done a feeding program through Brenner's Children's Hospital & we've had therapist come into the home. After all that she still doesn't eat much food orally. We were accepted into an Intensive Feeding Day Program in Paterson, NJ at St.Joseph's Children's Hospital. We are raising funds to cover our lodging, food, gas, & medical cost. Brandon will be out of work for 5 weeks & on only one income we will not be able to attend the program without donations. If you are not able to donate we ask that you just pray for Addison & our family. This program has a great success rate & we have hopes of her coming through the program & finally eating like she should so that we can have her feeding tube removed!
