"Hi everyone. After dealing w/ 2 types of cancer for 3+ years (breast & then colon). Even when full of hope, my soul feels as if thinning out. Chronic pain, ongoing surgeries, tests, innumerable losses, tendon & nervous system sensitivity & numbness, plus constant physical limitations & acute fatigue when I over do it; Are the norm of the day. Floating around since 2010, since not able to afford a place and other bills, on low disability. Plus the constant red tape and near misses, of loosing my medical benefits on a technicality. With both parents gone, no husband or kids to look after me; This 'cancer academy' has almost done away w/me. Had stayed in my car at times (and OK about it), but was recently repossessed. Yes, realize I'm not 'alone', but yes mostly & very grateful to any & all who have temporarily shared their space, or helped in any way; One of the reasons I still live. Yet, in dire need for a place to call my own =/ All the packing/unpacking and living out of bags in 20+ places this year, w/ numerous surgeries in between and unable to heal properly because of it; Have left me beyond depleted. So no. Pardon. Even if it seems that way, cancer does not just hit and leave...
Yes! Being positive, talking about stuff and prayers are crucial. And for sure walks, pink bows, messages and suggestions are nice. Yet, none help in the now or everyday life. Sorry :/ If you thought everything was back to 'normal' or just didn't know how bad it was or completely different from what others said... Or if we have not seen, really seen one another in a while... It is ok. Thank God we are still alive. Life happens so fast! And we are all surviving in our own way. Right? If you would like to separate time to see me great and if you would like to help, great. I could really use help, in many areas and in many ways. God willing, see you or talk soon =)
*Open to gifts of a Van (which I can convert into or an already Class B camper Van) &/or small RV, house & car. Already have a couple long-term place's I could park. And/or reliable, long-term quiet house-siting positions - Anywhere. Have felt fulfilled by going on missions and as part of speaking assignments & community projects. Such callings warm my heart. Have also sent boxes w/necessary goods for recipients both internationally & local. Awesome fundraisers, mentors, networking & love gifts have helped.
