Where in the world do I begin? Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be writing like this again. I am truly starting to belive that God gives his hardest battles to his strongest warriors. After two and a half years in remission from my Ewing's Sarcoma, I found out after numerous tests that I have Therapy Related Acute Myeloid Leukemia. What that boils down to is that this is a direct result from one of the Cemotherapy drugs that I recieved five years ago.
After enduring countless rounds of Chemotherapy, Radiation therapy, and surgeries, I have decided to persue treatment in alternative therapy form. No matter what style of treatment I choose, there is risk involved. The main reason I am doing alternative treatment right now is because I am in this predicament becasue of Chemotherapy. I have pumped my body full of toxins for too long. There are great strides in alternative medicince, and I am confident with the plan that has been presented to me.
So, with all that being said, I will be starting a six month care plan at Superior Health Solutions in Las Vegas, Nevada. No, I will not be moving there, as I still have a job here in MN, but I will be going down there once a month to recieve the treatment. While I am in Vegas, I will recieving 5 different forms of therapy that the Doctor has reccomended for me.
Since this is not traditional treatment, as you could guess, this is not covered under insurance. Many of you know that I had a benfit five years ago to help cover the cost of mediacal expences, and over that time, it has covered everything up till now.
As many of you know, I am not one to ask for much. I take pride in being able to complete things on my own, but that can only go so far as I am ovewhelmed with costs of this venture. So, I ask that anything you can give to help me out with my new journey would truly mean the world to me and my family. Thank you for the constant love and support over the last five years. Just like i've been saying from the start, Giving up isn't an Optoin, and im not going to start now!
