Marion Browns Backers K9 / Dog Event

Well, the season didn’t go as planned. We lost every game. Some Browns “fans” had a parade in Cleveland to honor the winless season. Well here in Marion we are taking a different approach. The Marion Browns Backers are teaming up with the Marion County Sheriffs Department and the local Dog Shelters to help out man’s best friend. We are collecting monetary donations as well as dog food that can dropped of at the fire station beside The OK Café.
While working out the details with the Lieutenant from the Sheriffs office, we learned that one of their K9s has cancer and will be put down. He is one of the newest members to the Department so this came as quite a shock. We are also raising money to help purchase a new K9 for the Department. Donations as well as the dog food will be distributed among the Marion County Sheriffs Department and the Dog Shelters in Marion County.
UPDATE: With local contributions and other various events we are doing within the community, we are well over half way towards our goal. Please help us in supporting those who help protect us.
