Family Of 6 Lost Everything In Fire
Thats the only picture we have available. This is a house fire on lithia in buchanan. Im one of the three grandchildren of the women who died in the fire. Let me give you some more information, no one know yet how this fire was started. There were a total of 6 people living in this house at the time and only 3 made it out alive. Both my grandparents my older sisterher husband and their 2 kids lived in this house. My grandfather woke up out of the blue and noticed the fire started down stairs, he woke up my grandmother went across the hall and started banging on the door to wake my sister her husband and there kids. My grandmother was able to get them up but no one could get in the room to them my pawpaw busted out a window and jumped off the roof. My sosterand her husband struggled to get there window open to get the smoke out of the room. My grandmotherwent downstairs to open a door and thats the last she was seen. My sister got the window open her and her husband jumoed out the window. She hurt herhip really bad (thought she broke her leg) they grabbed a ladder she climbed back up and went in for her boys she said it was really hit and she couldnt hear or see anything else and she just knew they didnt make it. My grandfather is in the hospital for smoke in his lungs. My sister has a bruised hip and leg some burns on her arms and legs. Her husband is worse off of them all 3rd degree burns on his chest back and face he can not speak and is on a ventilator. His arms and legs are second degree burns. They have lost everything in this fire. We are trying to getheras much money as possible for clothes,toiletries(necessities) and money for the funeral cost for my sister two kids and our grandmother. And also money for the hospital bills. Right now wedontknow whats planned for the house clean up or if it will be rebuilt. When my grandfather gets out of the hospital he will be living with family.
