Wheelchair for Outdoor Sports

My son Nick is a fun loving rambunctious young man.  Like most boys his age he enjoys outdoor activities, especially rifrely and hunting, as his Grandfather did.
Nick's current wheelchair is not able to allow him to go out in the winter or in wet weather and  leaves him house bound much more often then he would like, and insurance will only cover certain wheelchairs. 
He researched with his family and found a wheel chair that will allow him to get out side and enjoy his passions like hunting, sledding, helping his dad with outside chores and the ease of just getting around in the winter.  All too often  Nick's current chair has left him stuck just trying to get on his school bus.  We believe the 4x4 chair would allow him the freedom to ambulate in the winter and enable him to compete in sports that he would otherwise not be able to. I belive it will also eliminate the winter depression he gets from just sitting around all winter.  Nick has shared his story with many children in the area and continues to be active as an advocate for children with special needs...and as a child giving community service to others we would like to be able to give back to him in small way.
