4WD Wheelchair Fund for Expedition

$6,109 of $14,000 goal

Raised by 55 people in 24 months

I am a paraplegic undertaking an incredible and challenging expedition from the lowest point in Australia to the highest - Lake Eyre to Mt Kosciusko.

I am here to ask you to support my cause by way of donation in order to pay for the required equipment I need for my wheelchair in order to undertake the more difficult areas. It is a handcycle and I cannot complete the expedition without this equipment.

There are few opportunities in life where you are pushed to your absolute strained limit of emotional and physical exhaustion, and you simply have to continue - because you started and because you have made commitments and because you owe it to your incredible team, but most of all you just can't not turn up to that one remote area school in the middle of Woop Woop with a population of around thirty going down, but there is just one child there who is disabled or not, but he has been waiting eagerly to see one of us. And that moment could set off another incredible adventurous life. That's enough reason to keep pushing through the worst road; the long slowly inclined push on the Handcycle in the heat after repairing 4 tubes to start the day. So we have the ability to raise awareness about equality and politics and, and. Or, maybe we are simply leading by example, a positive image of a challenging subject. So if you do see us or hear about us coming through your town, bring everyone out and give us a shout. Perfectly open to expressive expression...

With your assistance, I will have the opportunity to feel the achievement of the final moment.

The moment we all reach through the hardest of life's trials. I will ensure you share this experience with us online via the film that will be produced and shown around the world. Photos, sculptures, and illustrations made along the trip as ephemeral works in different states of presence. So please pass this on to anyone you know that would have the ability to help me out. Without the off road Handcycle I could not be part of the team. But, to all thank you so much for the generous support so far. May it keep coming in from all corners of the world... I'll get it translated to Russian?

So we are well into the expedition now with as many amazing adventures as incredible people who we have met along the way. Passing through this incredible remote landscape is a privilege and I thank those who have helped so far, however, I still have to pay for the Off road handcycle as it is only on loan till I pay for it. Please share this with anyone you know who can help with a donation or contribute yourself, no matter how small, through this site. It is still integral to my campaign and so much appreciated.
Your assistance is still integral

The days are counting down and I am a long way off. There are still incredible rewards on offer. I have a number of my artworks - if you've enjoyed the Blue flocking on gold leaf stones they are available as a reward. It's getting serious now - so close - only two weeks to go! Please donate so I can take part in this incredible adventure.

These moments we all reach through the hardest of life's trials. I need this OFF ROAD HANDCYCLE to start the journey and complete the first 400 or so km.
I will ensure you share this experience with us online via my personal Photos, sculptures, and illustrations made along, the trip as ephemeral works in different states of being. So please pass this on to anyone you know that would have the ability to help me out.

With your assistance, I will be there to see you. I will have the opportunity to feel the achievement of the final moment of each day.

May it keep coming in from all corners of the world... and keep an eye on the REWARDS from incredible professional artists like Joan Ross who has made one of her works count towards my journey. Thank you so much Joan. This is an incredible opportunity to own one of Australia's foremost contemporary artists works at a reduced rate discounted here for this cause.

Contemporary artist David Capra has also offered a reward, unique and quirky in the manner that only David can produce. He is another friend and supporter of this extraordinary expedition. Please see his donated reward that honors the love of our best freinds, our pets, and his pet dachshund, Tina. So check out the rewards section for the opportunity and again David, Thank you so much for your support. Dan
