Help The O'Keefes Fight Leukemia

Chad O'Keefe had been ill prior to Thanksgiving, and went to urgent care and a doctor for flu like symptoms. He was told his symptoms were likely viral, however the symptoms worsened over the next two weeks. Gin convinced him to go to the ER on Tuesday, December 5th, and he was admitted to MU University Hospital. After blood transfusions and other tests, an out of whack hemoglobin and bone marrow count prompted more tests and samples were sent to the Mayo Clinic. It wasn't good news the next day. Chad has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). His immediate stay in the hospital will last approximately 30 days and include his already completed chemotherapy and ample testing. Chad will be unable to return to work for 3-4 months at a minimum while receiving treatments. We are raising money to help Chad and Gin pay for bills that will continue to come in while Chad is fighting his illness.
