Strong Bohol After the Earthquake
Donation protected
On October 15, 2013,Carmen, Bohol, Philippines, was hit with a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. The province of Bohol is my birth place and just thankful that my family and friends are safe. Some of the houses were damaged but at least each one of them are safe from injuries.
The biggest problem now, is getting relief goods to the quake victims in hardly hit towns such as: Loon, Maribojoc, Antequera, Sagbayan and Tubigon to name a few. Relief operations are being planned and underway but monetary funds are still needed. Being away from Bohol and hearing all suffering of the people back home just breaks my heart. Since I can't be there physically, I decided to try to get some kind of fundraising to help my fellow boholanons.
My mother Dr. Gloria Tirol Casabal, Executive Director of the UB Community Development Foundation, Inc.; President of Philippine Association of Family Physicians, Bohol Chapter, are accepting donations for their relief operations to the earthquake victims. Any donations will be accepted and I will send it to her, for the operations in the hardest hit communities.
