DACA Renewal

Donation protected
Since September 5, 2017,  the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program has been in a state of limbo and subject to various - often contradicting - court interpretations. Right now, a DACA case is set to be heard in Texas on August 8, 2018. This court could very well put an end to renewals.

This new deadline comes sooner than expected for many DACA recipients including myself. Normally, I would have the sufficient funds to meet the full cost of my renewal, but with changing circumstances things have developed and I need help getting the $495 needed for my renewal.  That's why I'm reaching out to the community and asking for some assistance from people who are willing and able to donate even a little. These donations will allow me to continue working as a recent college graduate and provide not only for myself but for my family as well. Furthermore, this renewal will also allow me to live my life with a sense of security for a longer period. Grateful for any support.

To get a better understanding of what not being able to extend my DACA would mean take a listen to an interview I did on KCRW in September 2017: https://kcrw.co/2AIxDlD
