4th Annual Ronnieman Toy Drive
Donation protected
Ronald “RonnieMan” Johnson was murdered by Chicago police officer George Hernandez on Oct 12, 2014, one week after the infamous CPD killing of Laquan McDonald. RonnieMan was the father of five young kids.
Former state’s attorney Anita Alvarez refused to bring charges against Hernandez. She referenced video footage of RonnieMan running away from police when he was murdered that had been improperly edited to suggest he may have been armed. Ronnieman’s family is still fighting for justice, demanding a special prosecutor to reopen the case.
And while they organize, they also lift up RonnieMan’s memory by brightening the holidays for Chicago kids with an annual toy drive. Find out more and get involved at JusticeForRonnieman.com.
You can also pick out and order toys from the wishlist here: Bit.ly/RonnieMan.
