Hey!!
As many of you know, I left the classroom in March 2018 to attend a DTS (Discipleship Training School) at YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Madrid, and later returned in September to attend the BCC (Bible Core Course). I am currently back in Madrid, living here, as a missionary with YWAM, with the opportunity to be part of personal of the base and staff of the current Voice for the Voiceless DTS.
In a DTS, there are two phases: the lecture phase and the outreach (practical) phase (international & national). The lecture phase is nearing an end, which means we will be moving right into our outreach phase. This is where I need YOUR help!
For the international outreach, my team and I will be going to Uganda, from June 1st to 15th, as you can see in the video. There, we will work with and visit a few orphanages, where we will be able to lend a hand to the staff through cleaning, cooking, classes, washing clothes, and spending time with the children. We will also be able to teach bible stories and have some time of ministry. We will also have opportunities to share and help out in various churches.
There will also be other opportunities to evangelize/share God's love in the streets, the slums, and other areas where there is such a need for "light in the darkness".
We would also love to be able to bless the orphanages with various needed supplies (clothes, school supplies, toys, etc).
To pay for round trip flight to Uganda, vaccines, and expenses (housing/food/etc) while in Uganda, I need 955 euros (about $1100) by May24th. Breakdown: 525 euros for the flight and about 430 euros for the rest of the expenses.
So what do you say, would you be willing to help send me to Uganda? Any amount helps!
