Bridget Is Going To MISS USA!!!
Now, I'm on an even bigger journey. I am lucky to have amazing state directors and sponsors that will help me with most of my needs to get to Miss USA. However, there will be many additional expenses they will not be able to cover, which is why I have again turned to fundraising. When I head to Miss USA, I will be on location for 3 weeks. My appearance outfits are something that will need to be supplied by me. We will need several cocktail and formal dresses for various events we will attend. How I present myself throughout those 3 weeks will have a large bearing on the Miss Universe Organization's impression of me and they do have a say in which girls make it to the Top 15 at the pageant. I also have the opportunity to shoot my official Miss USA photo with Fadil Berisha. He is the official photographer of the Miss Universe Organization and his work is incredible. It is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to shoot with him, but of course, it comes with a hefty price tag.
Factored into this amount is a goal to donate at least $2500 to the Melanoma Foundation of New England as this is a cause near and dear to my heart. I am so excited for all the opportunities this year will present me and have made it my personal goal to spread my story of skin cancer awareness to educate our youth on the dangers of a tanning.
If you or someone you know is a business owner and would like to host a fundraising event, please let me know!! I would love to come to the event, take photos and sign my autograph cards!
In just a few short months, I will be walking across the Miss USA stage LIVE on NBC! How crazy is that!?!? They say you are more likely to have a son play in the Superbowl than to have a daughter walk across the Miss USA stage (Go Mom and Dad!)
Again, Thank you so much to all of you who donated on my first journey. I would love to have your support again on this next chapter :)
Miss NH USA 2014
We are so proud of you Bridget. Not just because you will be representing New Hampshire in Miss USA; but because you had a goal and you worked so hard to accomplish that goal. It proves what we have always known you are made of. Whatever the outcome you have proven yourself a winner in more ways than one. You also give everyone out there hope with a dream that they may have. If you work hard enough anything is possible! We love you and can't wait to cheer you on to Miss USA! I hope that everyone that came to Miss NH and anyone else that would like to come along for the excitement will join us at Miss USA. XOXO
