Ramah's Building Fund Campaign!

Dear Ramah Leaders, Members, Friends, Family, and Supporter,

On behalf of Ramah Christian Center, Inc., I am requesting your support to help fund our Building Fund Campaign, which is also known as our Property Acquisition Project; Vision 2017. With your help, we will have the opportunity to own this church/property along with the six commercial stores attached to it. As a result, we will have the ability to enhance our Mission efforts and to better serve our community at large. 

The Lord promised that wherever we placed our feet according to his will that He would give it to us. Now He is ready to do just that; it is time to possess the land!

History
Ramah Christian Center, Inc. was established in 1997 in the Bronx, New York and was founded by Pastor Roderick Roberts and the late First Lady Arleen Roberts. This ministry was established for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and for the edification of the body of Christ. Ramah Christian Center was designed to liberate and elevate the minds of God’s people through information, impartation and demonstration of the power and grace of Almighty God.

Community Achievements/Highlights
Since its inception, Ramah has supported various educational and health efforts both locally and internationally, and has achieved the following but are not limited to:

(1) In partnership with the 47th Precinct Clergy Coalition, participated in granting scholarships totaling $60,000+ to support academic achievement from 2001-2016;
(2) A total of 500 backpacks/school supplies were distributed through our Back to School event from 2013-2016;
(3) Established a new facility for our Children’s Ministry in 2016 to cater to the spiritual, social, emotional and cognitive development of our children;
(4) Fed and served a total of 10,000 individuals/families in Guatemala through our Foreign Missions Ministry from 2014-2016;
(5) Distributed food to 1,800 orphaned children on an annual basis in Pakistan and around the world;
(6) Provided a total of 300 families with hot meals during the Thanksgiving holiday from 2013-2015;
(7) Established 2 Health Partnerships, including the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Association; and
(8) Conducted and promoted a total of 10 community health events from 2013-2016

 We aim to further impact our community in the future by developing a youth center, including a gymnasium/recreation space for youth and children.

Additionally, we hope to establish a retreat/campground for individuals and families who suffer from domestic violence and abuse. 

In order to achieve these targeted goals, we must make the necessary steps needed to ensure ownership of this property. 

Fundraising Goal
Our financial goal is to raise $300,000 by September 30th, 2017.

Your support will help to underwrite the cost of a 30% deposit of the property along with three months of expenses, appraisal, title search, bank fees, environmental report and other related exploration costs associated with the property.
