Harlow Needs Help!

Donation protected
Hey guys, my pup needs some help. Two summers ago my family and I decided to get a new pup. We looked online and found Harlow, an 8 week old Siberian husky from PA. The moment we saw pictures of her we decided the next morning we would take a drive up and meet her. Uncertain on if we even going to bring her home, needless to say the moment we saw her we instantly fell in love. We pulled up and got out and she was sitting under a tree awaiting our arrival. When we went to approach her she was scared, hesitant, and meek. Regardless of her nervous personality we thought she was absolutely adorable and knew she would adjust to our dog friendly and loving home. We had paid the owner, asked for some of the food she was currently eating, and rushed to a petsmart to get the proper necessaries we would be needing. After a few days we realized she was very inactive, constantly slugging and unable to eat anything. When we would finally get her to eat something, she would vomit it back up within the next hour. After a week or so she was even smaller from when we got her. We took her to the vet, they said she was 10 pound under weight and was unsure of her symptoms and wanted to keep her monitored over night. Knowing she was malnourished, we denied and took her back home. After thinking about the kennel where we got her, we realized something was off. When we were there, we were not allowed to see any of the other puppies, the owner seemed very sketchy and unaware. I️ went back onto the website and noticed that Harlow’s listing was STILL up. But the picture was not the puppy we had asked for and received that day, it was a totally different one. We noticed that not only did he have Harlow’s liter, but he had another one newly up. We came to the realization that the liter Harlow came from was from the second liter, which was much much much younger. After looking at Harlow’s teeth we realized she was only 5 weeks old. If you know anything about dogs, you would know that a dog needs those 8 weeks with its mother to feed off her and to socially interact with its brothers and sister. It is illegal to sell a dog that is under 8 weeks. After taking Harlow home from the vet we decided to purchase many vitamins and baby formula to give to Harlow. We forced these into her mouth with a syringe and cooked her chicken and rice for dinners. After a few weeks of doing this, she started eating more, being active and more aware and eventually grew to be a happy and healthy puppy. Harlow is now 1 1/2 years old but we began to notice something more than the traumatizing childhood she went through. She began to be unable to walk, climb and stand up. Thinking she maybe strained one of her legs or something minor, we let it go only for it to progress. Harlow cannot stand without screaming in pain or run without giving out. She limps to walk and struggles to lay back down. After taking her back to the vet, we discovered she has hip dyspepsia of a 7 year old full sized dog in both hips due to her being malnourished as a baby , she will never be normal again and eventually unable to walk unless we go through with hip replacement surgery. The surgery that Harlow qualifies for starts at $7,000 and that’s only for one hip. We are not asking for that much but anything would help and anything is appreciated. We want Harlow to live the way any puppy should be able to live. We want her to be able to run and play with our other dogs and we don’t want to see her suffer anymore than she already has. We are very appreciative of anyone who took the time JUST to read this, and we would appreciate all proceeds. If you have any questions please feel free to message me on Twitter. @dollycecola Thank u all so much
