Pam Charbonneau's Cancer Beatdown

Pam Charbonneau is the wife of retired Corpus Christi Firefighter Mike Charbonneau and Step Mother of CCFD Firefighter Matt Charboneau and the Mother of Sarah and Kirsti and also a Grandmother. Pam is no stranger to the fight against cancer. She discoverd a dime sized lump in her right breast in 2012, after a biopsy in March of 2013 revealed a Stage 2 invasive Carcinoma with possible Lymph Node involvement, she began her battle with Cancer. She began six months of Chemotherapy, followed by a lumpectomy and 35 radiation treatments. She was in remission for 2 1/2 years. In September 2015, Pam underwent a double Masectomy and breast recontruction surgery. Another 3 milimeter invasive Carcinoma was discovered under the left breast. Her pain never subsided and she began losing weight. Pam finally went to the ER after months of pain and weight loss. A CT scan revealed recurring breast cancer that had metastisized in her hip and spine. Her cancer has been classified at Stage 4.  The brain MRI was negative, but the spine has lesions too numerous to count and the biopsy from the hip says probable Chemotherapy and radiation. Pam will be at MD Anderson beginning January 10, 2016. Pam's job has been put on hold, without pay, and Mike has been working 2 jobs while caring for Pam and he has no leave to use during this process. They are in need of funds to help with the cost of lodging, food, and lost wages during this trying time.
