It's been a busy year, moving house and travelling lots to teach and continue my training. I completed my deer drum for the lodge and did a 2day moon vision quest.
With a few days spare time I'm itching to get going with the Inipi's again and am building one at High Heathercombe, near Manaton, my new home.
If you fancy helping out, weather and moon willing I'd love to see you 12th - 16th August for some slope levelling, lodge building and an Inipi. Exact dates tbc depending on hands available.
Please still look out for blankets.
Health & Happiness
It's been a little quiet whilst I've been away on various trainings, both attending and teaching and also gaining some practical experience at events.
In October I did my Vision Quest, which is still running in many ways.
I am gearing up to start bringing this work out into the community more. I'm planning to build a couple of new Inipis in Devon too.
So look out for invites and let me know if you'd like to be on a list to be notified.
I'm also always interested in old blankets if you come across any.
Many blessings to you all
Dear friends and supporters,
It's been a while since I've updated you. A second Inipi was built in Devon and a inipi ceremony was held there in May. I went for further preparations to Sussex and am learning to work with the women's cycle as a purifucation ceremony for personal healing.
I did a couple of Cleansing Inipi's, a particular form and individual ceremony.
I will be doing a Hanblechia (vision quest) in October. Until then I will still be doing practice Inipis for family and friends.
It's been an incredible journey and I am humbled to find myself here. I'm really looking forward to bringing this ceremony to more people, bringing the opportunity to find Life Within, the litteral translation of Inipi, for all our relations for generations to come.
Having attended the first Inipi /Sweat lodge training days, I now need to start practicing, in a small way to begin with.
My main limiting factor is the lack of blankets to cover & insulate the lodge.
If you know of any way to get hold of a load , or even just one old blanket, I'd love to hear from you.
I'm off later today to Sussex to start my training. I'm so grateful to those who have supported me already and invite those this speaks to, to join. I've achieved 32% of my funding to date and hope some more will trickle in as I go.
Thank you for the donations I received so far. I have reached 11% of my target to date, amazing!
I'm hoping some more of you might want to invest in this opportunity for sweatlodges to be held.
Feel free to share
If you feel you would like to invest in this capacity, so you can come and take part in sweatlodges, or if you simply would like to support me, please consider sponsoring me for this training.
I want to be able to deepen my knowledge and offer these ceremonies, but am having trouble funding it. Ceremonies are not charged for (though a contribution towards wood, stones and time may be asked), so if you feel it worthwhile to create this capacity in our communities, please consider sponsoring my training.
To give you an idea, raising the £1300 can be achieved by 100 people donating £13 or 13 people donating £100 and anything in between (under or over).
Please consider even the smallest donations, or contribute by keeping a look out for old blankets as many will be needed.
