Thoroughbred Rehab Center Inc.

My name is Leigh Gray and my 501c3 nonprofit is called Thoroughbred Rehab Center Inc. I started this company after working as an exercise rider on the tracks of Southern California for 12 years. I saw first hand the need to find homes for race horses ready to transition to new careers. I worked as Vet tech at Southern California Equine Hospital for 10 yrs. In 2003 my journey began as a rescue organization. In that time I have rehabbed and re homed over six hundred horses. One of my horses that went through my foundation successfully competed in Three day eventing at the Rio Olympics in 2016! My goal has always been to raise money to house, Rehab from injury and transition to a new job in English and western riding. Thoroughbred racehorses are bred to be athletes. They excel at many sports. It is this ability that makes them the horse of choice for the Eventing community.
