Travel & Lodging Expenses at Duke

TRAVEL EXPENSE CAMPAIGN Clarissa's initial appointment with Dr. Friedman at the Duke Brain Tumor Center in Raleigh is scheduled for Thursday and Friday (2 days) November 16 and 17, 2017.  We expect to learn more for the weeks ahead including when the treatments will actually start (6 week cycle), which treatments will be arranged (chemotherapy or radiation or both) and if any "Clinical Trials" will also be included during the treatment plan. Once the treatment plan is set up in Raleigh, NC Dr. Friedman confirmed Clarissa will need to remain in the immediate Raleigh/Durham area during the 6 week treatment cycle time. We will need to arrange a hotel or an apartment in the area. We are researching the costs and availability of accommodations near the Duke Brain Tumor Center. We expect the treatment cycle time to commence November 20th and run through or up to Christmas. Any donation or help you can provide for me and my family is appreciated.
