Zachary’s Bucket List

My cousin, Zachary, 17 years old, a senior in high school... is a very bright, outgoing boy... he has always been so loving, and caring... but, Over the past two years Zachary's health has been declining. After years of tests his DNA came back and gave us answers. Answers we did not want to hear. Answers that forever changed all of our lives. Zachary has been diagnosed with Progressive Spinocerebellar Ataxia. With this he has developed a long list of problems. He has Parkinsonism, Bulbar Palsy, Hyperparathyroidism, Tremors in his hands, chronic nerve pain, and excessive fatigue. This is a terminal illness. Rather that dwelling on what lies ahead he has decided to make the most of the little time he has left. He has begun creating a bucket list with everything that he wants to see and do before the end. We will be trying to accomplish as many of these things as we possibly can before he gets much worse. He wants to share his journey with the world. We are trying to find as many ways as we possibly can to help complete his bucket list and final living wishes in the short amount of time he has left with us... all money being donated will go towards his bucket list expenses, traveling out of state for medical reasonings (doctors appointments, testing, research, etc) and wages lost due to my family missing work to take care of him. We want the little amount of time he has left with us to make all the memories we possibly can with him. Anything you can contribute will be extremely helpful and appreciated to all of us in his family. Let’s give him some of the best memories we can!
