Help me save my daughter, please?

I'm asking for help, much as I hate to, because I need to get my daughter back. Her mother went in the hospital, and her grandmother lied to the courts to get an emergency custody order without contacting me. Less than two weeks later, her mother died, and her grandmother is trying to keep her permanently.

I have spoken with an attorney, but I need a $1650 retainer before she can help me. I have no idea how much it will cost me total, but this is definitely my first goal. Unfortunately, I need to raise this quickly, and can't use a credit card or any other means of credit.

I'm worried about my daughter. She needs medical care, psychiatric therapy, and a safe home, and I just don't believe she'll get any of that until I get her back. I say this because after her mother's death, I learned that everything I knew about their lives for the past few years was a lie. She's been neglected, living alone with her raging alcoholic mother, caring for herself and her mother more often than not, and all the closest adults in her life knew this and lied to me about it.

Please help me raise these attorney's fees so I can start the proceedings to get her home with me as soon as possible. I can't express how important this is to me, or how grateful I will be for every bit of help, no matter how small.
